Welcome to my little piece of the internet. I grew up in India dreaming about Silicon Valley. Now I split my time between San Francisco, Denver, and Bengaluru, which is either very ambitious or very scattered depending on who you ask. Probably both, haha!
I'm the Managing General Partner of MARL 5G Accelerator, 7 years in, 100+ portfolio companies, all building in Mobility, Autonomy, Robotics, and Logistics. I've reviewed over 10,000 early-stage companies in this space. That's a lot of pitch decks, a lot of bad slide design, and occasionally something that genuinely stops me in my tracks. Before investing full time, I built. Founded LendTech, grew it 300%, and sold it. I've also done operational turnarounds for companies that needed someone to deliver hard news without softening it. Got pretty good at that part too.
I recently co-founded StudioK out of Bengaluru with David Lambert of Right Side Capital. We run a founder residency that houses and backs student founders building deep tech companies targeting US markets from day one. The thesis is simple. India produces world-class technical talent at a rate global venture capital has barely started to process. We're trying to fix that. It's early, it's messy, and that's exactly why it's worth doing.
Across 100+ investments in the US and India, one pattern keeps showing up. The economic and policy relationship between these two countries is decades behind the commercial reality. Founders are crossing borders. Capital is crossing borders. Policy isn't keeping up. I spend a lot of my time working in that gap, with founders, investors, and policymakers on both sides who are trying to actually close it.
When I'm not doing any of that, I'm cooking. South Asian food, home fermentation projects, wellness shots I make myself and quietly subject my guests to. I grew up eating food that was alive with flavor and I've never stopped chasing that. In SF I'm wine tasting in Sonoma or hunting views in the North Bay. In Denver I'm figuring out which trails don't wreck you in the first mile. In Bengaluru I'm just trying to find a good filter coffee before 7am.
The US-India corridor is the most underleveraged trade and tech relationship of the next 20 years. That belief is the through line of everything I'm building.
